The journey toward the 13th Liberation DocFest, Bangladesh 2026 is moving forward, and we are now looking for enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to join our festival team.
A successful film festival depends not only on films and filmmakers, but also on the passionate people working behind the scenes. If you love documentary cinema, cultural events, storytelling, or working with people, this is your opportunity to be part of the DocFest experience.
Who We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from people who are:
- Responsible, punctual, and committed.
- Interested in documentary films and cultural activities.
- Good at communication and teamwork.
- Comfortable working in a busy festival environment.
- Willing to learn, take initiative, and support others.
- Able to communicate in Bangla and/or English.
- Available during the festival and relevant preparation periods.
Previous experience in festivals, events, media, filmmaking, photography, communications, or volunteering will be an advantage, but is not mandatory.
Volunteer Roles
Depending on your skills and interests, volunteers may assist with:
- Guest and filmmaker coordination
- Audience and registration desks
- Screening and venue management
- Event and festival logistics
- Social media and communication
- Photography and documentation
- Technical and production support
